We’re looking for a Accounts Payable/Treasury Assistant to join us on that journey. This role is about more than just day-to-day responsibilities, it’s about shaping how we inspire our customers, support our stores, and grow our community of adventurers.

What you’ll be doing

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct coding and authorisation
• Processing staff expense claims in line with company expense policy
• Allocating and processing payments in accordance with agreed supplier terms
• Uploading and processing large invoices into the accounting system
• Reconciling supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies and debit items
• Reviewing Goods and Non-Goods items on hold, including GRNI
• Preparing and submitting monthly VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time
• Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally
• Supporting cash collection and reconciliation across multiple payment types
• Ensuring cash is accurately allocated and investigating variances where required
• Responding to cash and till-related queries in a timely manner

We’re looking for someone who

• Has a solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Treasury/Accounts Receivable processes
• Is highly accurate, with strong attention to detail
• Is confident using Excel and Outlook in a finance environment
• Takes a proactive, organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines
• Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Builds strong working relationships through collaboration
• Acts with integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times
• Has a strong internal customer focus and a positive, problem-solving mindset
